Campaign Presentation

Due: 2019-12-12

Objective

You will present to the class your vision for your company, showing all the materials you’ve done up to this point and also your website, which should now be completed. You should walk us through your initial analysis of the company, your vision at the outset, and how it has evolved from the materials you first presented, pointing out how things have changed along the way.

You will steer the conversation for this presentation, rather than simply present your items to the class and address questions from myself and classmates (though a Q&A should take place at the end of your presentation.) The format in which you present is up to you, though it’s recommended that you have a folder of pdfs ready to open and present, and of course your website will consist of web pages in a folder which are functional.

The way in which you present your company’s visual identity should be more formal than our first presentation; that is, you should present your work as if you’re presenting it to a group that you are meant to sell your vision to. Blatantly bashing the previous company identity (or lack thereof) is to be avoided (don’t say the old work was just crappy). You should point out the flaws of the old materials, but in a way that addresses specific problems with the company’s previous identity. For guidance on what to focus on here, see your initial responses to the company analysis questions, your answers to those questions, and consider how you’ve addressed the problems noted there and salvaged anything that needed to be saved.

Place your items in the Art Direction dropbox or have your items ready to easily present on a storage device at the beginning of class. As others are presenting, you should not be working or doing other things, but giving your attention to the presenter and considering the feedback you will give.

At the end of your presentation, the floor should be opened up to feedback on what you’ve done and questions about why you made the decisions you did along the way.
